Merge PDF files

Bundle multiple PDFs into a single file — a cover letter and résumé, scanned receipts, or chapters of a report. slimdocs also removes duplicated fonts and images during the merge, so the combined file stays as small as possible.

How to use it

1. Open the Merge PDF tool.
2. Add two or more PDFs in the order you want them.
3. Drag to reorder if needed.
4. Merge, then download the single combined PDF.

One file is easier than many

Whenever a set of PDFs really belongs together, a single merged file is simply easier to handle. A job application reads better as one document — cover letter, résumé, references — than as three separate attachments. An expense report is cleaner as a single file of receipts. A book or manual makes sense as one PDF rather than a chapter per file.

Merging also fixes ordering. Instead of hoping the recipient opens your attachments in the right sequence, you decide the order once and bake it into a single document.

A smarter merge that stays small

Naively gluing PDFs together can bloat the result, because each file often embeds the same fonts and, sometimes, the same images. slimdocs consolidates those shared resources during the merge, so combining files that use the same typefaces does not multiply their size.

The page content itself is preserved exactly — text stays selectable, links keep working, and nothing is rasterised. You get one document that is the sum of the pages but not the sum of the bloat.

Order and arrangement

Add your files, then drag them into the sequence you want before merging — the on-screen order is the order of the final document. You can combine many PDFs in a single pass, each subject to the standard per-file size limit, which is plenty for everyday documents.
